Idea / concepting
Execution
I hosted a community gathering centered on the value of diversity and shared meaning. Each attendee was assigned to bring with them a personal relic / trinket that held meaning to them, whatever that may be. Participants attached their object to the foundation (a tree branch) and included a short written description about their object.
The objects were joined together to create an art installation, and to represent turning individual identity into shared meaning. The intention of this event was to spark dialogue around how we assign meaning and value through lived experience.

Attendees completed populating the art installation upon arrival, and was accompanied by light bites & music until the main dinner course was served.
Boxjelly Holiday Party 25
Additional party planning as a continuation of developing my creative direction practice through the creation of cohesive, multi-sensory environments.
